God Is Good

Welcome to Guatemala and the torrental downpours! We will be building all week in the rain!  Sound like your idea of fun?  It was for the team.  Not one complaint.  That is, if you don't count a little ribbing of the Pastor about not needing rain gear for this trip, as a complaint.  The team demonstrated our motto, "Blessed are the flexible, for they shall never be bent out of shape."  They responded to the bad weather with a tremendous attitude and desire to honor the Lord.  One of our team members said, "Well it will surely be something we will never forget!"  We submitted the trip to God for His glory.  Today was a beautiful day.  The Lord blessed our work.  We built six houses for families that desperately needed them and ministered to the village through a medical clinic.  It was amazing to see our team respond to the Lord's call.  The Lord heard our prayers to hold off the rain and we had a beautiful day to work.  The Lord has also answered our petition to use us as His servants.  God is in the answering business.  He is in the miracle business.  He is at work and we are blessed to be here this week.
